Wildlife experts took on the Double Crested Cormorants in Chesterfield County Wednesday night. They used pyrotechnics and lasers to try to push the pesky birds away from the lake in the Woodlake Community. Many people use Facebook to connect with people on a personal level and use LinkedIn to connect professionally. Facebook is keeping any details of creating a job connection feature pretty private, but according to the Wall Street Journal, Facebook is in the process of creating a "LinkedIn" job like feature. Cyber expert Theresa Payton says it could be in place by fall. Wall Street Journal has learned that it will gather up the entire job postings out there on other websites and make them available in one place. "When I talk to people in their 30's, 40's, and 50's, they want them separate. They do not want the two intermingled. They don't want the place they talk to kids, grandkids, and friends to be where they look for a job." say's Theresa. Kacy Jenkins uses Facebook to connect to people and also LinkedIn to connect professionally. She thinks otherwise. Kacy and most other college graduates wished Facebook had a job listing feature before now because it would have been helpful in finding a job in their career field.
commentary :
I am not sure whether posting jobs on Facebook is the best website to do so? I would suggest going with Linkedin to start with...
